Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and PeptiGuide AI ("PeptiGuide," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of the PeptiGuide AI mobile application and the website at peptiguide.app (together, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into these Terms. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. The Service

PeptiGuide AI provides an educational peptide and GLP-1 encyclopedia, an AI research assistant, a reconstitution calculator, an injection tracker, and vial inventory tools. Content is drawn from public scientific literature (such as PubMed, the FDA, and WADA) and presented in a neutral, standardized format for informational purposes only.

3. Educational purpose & no medical advice

All content and outputs — including AI-generated answers and calculator results — are for general educational and informational purposes only. They are not medical advice and must not be relied upon to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, or to make decisions about acquiring or using any substance. Many peptides are experimental, are not approved by the FDA for human clinical use, and may be prohibited by anti-doping bodies such as WADA. You are solely responsible for how you use any information. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional and comply with all applicable laws.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions & payments

The Service offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("Pro"), currently priced at $9.90 per month or $99 per year (prices may vary by region and are subject to change).

• Billing: Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are charged to your store account.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by the applicable app store under its policies. We do not separately process store payments.
• Changes: We may change features or pricing prospectively; changes will not affect an already-paid current period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any regulation, including laws governing controlled or prohibited substances.
• Rely on the Service as a source of medical advice or present its content as such to others.
• Reverse engineer, scrape at scale, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Misuse the AI assistant to generate harmful, illegal, or dangerous instructions.
• Infringe the rights of others or upload unlawful content.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by PeptiGuide AI and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of content you create (such as your logs); you grant us a license to host and process it to operate the Service.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (hosting, authentication, AI processing, subscriptions, and diagnostics) and is distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those platforms is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that content is complete, accurate, current, or error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPTIGUIDE AI AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR HEALTH OUTCOME ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PeptiGuide AI from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at PeptiGuide AI's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence. Where permitted, disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing here removes protections you cannot waive under local law.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when we post the updated Terms and update the "Last updated" date, or as otherwise required by law. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
